In this 5 day workshop, learn about traditional uses of the Grand Banks Fishing Dory. Various designs and construction techniques are explored while actively building a 17" dory, similar to the Grandy Dory originally designed and built in Fortune Bay. Participants receive detailed instruction as they build a complete dory, progressing through each stage from laying out the bottom, to installing frames, planks, and finishing details.
